Fug or Fab? Bobbi Blu Boots

These Bobbi Blu Halter Boots have been the topic of much discussion among my friends. They come in brown, bone, and blue (not pictured). I find the brown and blue very attractive and the bone impractical because white-ish boots are always impractical. I have friends who also like the boots. However, I have friends who don't feel the same way. What do you think? Are these a fabulous statement boot? Or do that go beyond quirky and venture into the fugly category?

Brothel chic. The white ones are so many levels of hideous. It's particularly the choice of trim color that's ruining it for me.

I want the blue ones so bad it's torture. But I can't afford them. So instead, I just drool over pretty pictures and sigh.

I like the dark ones... I didn't like them at first, but after looking at a bigger picture I think they're pretty darn cool.

I know I'm a little late with my comment... but who cares! I actually tried these boots on in a lovely purple-y color. I would have had a hard time not buying them if they had actually zipped arround my calf. That was my only complaint, it could have been easily fixed if only the lacing on the back was actually lacing and not just sewed on. *sigh*

I own the brown pair and love them, I'm trying to get my hands on the other two colors but it has been over a year since I bought them. I always get mass complements when I wear them.

Happy 10th Anniversary... and goodbye.

What we looked like in 2009 Ten years ago I created, Fashion Me Fabulous, wrote up a handful of posts, picked a layout and send it all to my friend, Jael. “I’ve started a fashion blog.
