Try Out Winter Shorts

After seeing Gwen Stefani and a few other stylish celebrities pairing tights with shorts made of wintery materials, I've been thinking about trying it. (Even though the Fuggers generally hate this look, I still want to try it.) Urban Outfitters has a seriously cute blue and grey plaid pair reduced from $58 to $14.99. I'd dress them up with these fantastic fish-inspired green mary janes from Anthropologie, and keep my legs warm with grey wool tights. This purple pussy bow blouse from FCUK will bring out the color in the shorts, and a grey keyhole back vest keeps the top of the outfit looking tailored. Every ensemble needs some bobbles, so I'd wear these green and teal lampwork earrings from Etsy.

I'm not the biggest fan of the shorts/tights combo, but that's just me. I think some people make it seem very stylish. The shorts themselves are very cute though. And the purple shirt and vest are both lovely.

Happy 10th Anniversary... and goodbye.

What we looked like in 2009 Ten years ago I created, Fashion Me Fabulous, wrote up a handful of posts, picked a layout and send it all to my friend, Jael. “I’ve started a fashion blog. What do you think?” She gave me a few tips, wrote a couple “guest posts” and before long became my blogging partner. Together, we built a blog and community I could have never built alone.
