Oh, The Ironing!
I bought a cute gauzy cotton skirt with pleat trim. Unfortunately, the pleats fall out ever time I wash it and it just looks like a rumpled mess. Needless to say, I'm getting better with an iron. Here are some of my favorite tips:
-- Put a sheet of aluminum foil under your ironing board cover. This will reflect the heat and iron the back side of your clothes.
-- When in doubt, iron inside out.
--With shirts, start with the stiffest parts -- collar, cuffs, button area.
-- Keep cheesecloth or a washcloth handy for your delicate items.
-- Hang everything immediately!
