Feathers in Her Hair

Kenley isn't necessarily my favorite Project Runway designer, but there is one bit of her style that I really like. She wears a lot of flowers and feathers in her hair. I love the feather look most. Watching Project Runway last night, I kept noticing how cute the feathers looked in her hair.

Feathers have never found their way into my wardrobe, but I think a chic little hair feather might be fun. I've found several feather clips and bands on Etsy (below), and a few unique flowers. What to you think of these flighty hair pieces?

I love feathers in my hair - I just ordered two feathered headbands from Forever 21.

I've also made some of my own feathered clips with plain hairdresser's clips, a bag of craft feathers, and a glue gun. It's an easy do-it-yourself project.

I've been oggling some feathery things at urban outfitters lately. I think that they would work as both hair clip and hat pin.

These are great headbands! I found a new store online called Esti Headbands. Go to www.estiheadbands.com for the new fashion trend! Feather headbands - beautifully crafted and worth every cent. I bought a few of them and get complimented all the time! I saw similar ones in Lucky and OK and People magazines. These magazines say that feather headbands are number three of the top ten fashion trends for the fall 2008 and winter 2009. I find Esti Headbands to be plentiful and so beautiful! Happy 10th Anniversary... and goodbye.

What we looked like in 2009 Ten years ago I created, Fashion Me Fabulous, wrote up a handful of posts, picked a layout and send it all to my friend, Jael. “I’ve started a fashion blog. What do you think?” She gave me a few tips, wrote a couple “guest posts” and before long became my blogging partner. Together, we built a blog and community I could have never built alone.
