Buying Into Country Plaid

Fall's plaid belongs to British equestrian land-owners not Paul Bunyan and certainly not Sid Vicious. If you're worried about looking too lumber jack or punk rock, avoid jeans, Dr. Marten's, and sneakers. Layering with lush cashmere or velvet and topping your look off with a feathered headband or riding boots will keep you in 2008's tartan trend. This week is dresses and skirts. Next week, I'll have jackets and tops for you.
