Halloween on a Budget
So you've been invited to a costume party and you don't want to go as a princess for the fifth time, but you don't have much money. We hear your plea. Read below and stay tuned for more tips on Halloween dress on the cheap.
First thing you should do is look at your makeup. You don't have to apply it in the usual costume ways like clown, goth, 80s diva, etc. Remember that you don't have to use your lipstick on your lips or your eyeshadow on your eyes. Put colors where you need them. MAC Cosmetics has some great suggestions for making yourself into a tree, paint spill, and other creative ideas. Maybe you'll need a color or two, but that's still under $10 and you can wear the color again in everyday life. Your princess crown, not so much.
