London Fashion Week Favorites So Far
Fall/Winter 2009 marks Mary Karrantzou's London Fashion Week debut. Her collection of dresses was small but strong with colorful, bottle-inspired prints. I can't wait to see her future work.
Roksanda Ilincic continued the shiny, big-shouldered trend from New York. Additionally, her collection included reptile embossed fabrics, ruffles, and lace. It's a lot of look. The pants are the most wearable thing here and can work nicely with an evening look. The dresses are hit-and-miss, but a young, confidant woman could pull them off.
Julien Mcdonald was chanelling the rock star spirit with body-conscious clothing, exposed zippers, sharp shoulders, and unraveled knits.
