New York Fashion Week Favorites So Far
Elie Tahari's fall collection featured ladylike basics, pretty prints and pops of color. These easy-to-wear pieces brighten up work wear, and the cinched waists will flatter a variety of figures.

Jill Stuart's Fall collection was inspired by iconic female musicians. This meant mixing the line's ultra-girly style with some rock n roll edge. Lace, leather, ruffles and chains make for a very fun collection in my book.

Delicate details, pretty frocks and wearable basics walked Thakoon's runway. It Thakoon's Go International collection for Target had been half this pretty, I would have been all over it.

Instead of offering up great basics, Tibi made a collection of unique pieces they hope consumers just have to have. Pops of color, fun shapes and bold prints made for a cute collection.

Trovata's collection was one of the few that featured clothing for both men and women that didn't make me jealous of the menswear because the girls got a little taste of it. Along with some menswear details came easy girly pieces and cute basics.

Cynthia Steffe is a somewhat new line. FMF has actually featured quite a few Cynthia Steffe items in past shopping posts. The fall collection put a tough edge on feminine pieces. The collection has a lot of season-less pieces that should mix well with any wardrobe.
