Trend: 1930's Inspiration
We're in our biggest economic crisis since The Great Depression. Designers, struggling to keep people shopping, are using this fact for inspiration. Hence the stores are filling with 1930's details: t-strap shoes, bias cutting, wide shoulders, boat necks, muted colors, tailored suits, and below-the-knee trumpet skirts.
