Wrapping Up London Fashion Week
House of Holland offered of a collection of divided gradients starting dark at the top and fading toward the bottom with a white line in between each section of color. The colors didn't seem very fall-like either. Holland isn't the first designer to do this so it looks like we might be in for a cheerful Autumn.
As a graduate of Central Saint Martins, Mark Fast knows how to stand out. While the small but stunning collection lacked practicality, it set this designer up as a unique voice to watch.
Meadham Kirchhoff took biker chic to a new place with their fall collection full of embroidery, asymmetrical bomber jackets, and delicate fraying.
Peter Pilotto mixed lovely draping with bold graphic prints that made me wish my closet had more prints in it. Also interesting were the slouchy, over-the-knee boots the models wore.
