Fall Trend: Cowboy Boots

Cowboy boots are eternal for some, but when cheap versions start showing up in suburban mall stores like Charlotte Russe and more-than-rent version stalk the runways at Roberto Cavalli, the style has gone main stream. The last time I remember everyone needing cowboy boots, was around the turn of the millennium thanks to Madonna's Music album. (While I've always had a fondness for cowboy boots, that round of interest in the West left me with a purple, faux snake cowboy hat that I wore often.) What has spawned this resurgence in popularity is unknown, but it's right in line with my recent fashion leanings.

I adore cowboy boots, but they get way too much attention when I wear them. I live in Utah, and apparently actual cowboys are the only people allowed to wear cowboy boots in Utah. Cowboys that live on ranches and ride horses.
So alas, I don't see the trend doing much good around here.

I have accumulated 6 pairs of cowboy boots over the last few years. Several pair are vintage cowboy boots and they look great with jeans. Boots for the Fall are in demand now, and in the future as well. Nothing wears like a good cowboy boot.

Happy 10th Anniversary... and goodbye.

What we looked like in 2009 Ten years ago I created, Fashion Me Fabulous, wrote up a handful of posts, picked a layout and send it all to my friend, Jael. “I’ve started a fashion blog.
