Dress The 2010 Grammy Nominee
Forgot nominees actually. Last year half of the people "dressed" didn't even show up. So everyone listed here is a presenter, performer or both.
The Grammys should be a time of fearless fashion, but it's become awash in soft gowns or cliched rocker clothes. (I love both, but never remember them on the red carpet.) But with Lady Gaga in the house, no one is really going to be talking about anyone else's ill-advised dress on Monday. Consider her attendance a blank check for creativity.
Miley Cyrus, frankly, could use some sartorial guidance. She likes to pretend she's a rockstar and has begun dressing in a hard, skin-baring fashion. It doesn't really suit her. Miley, you can look hot and modern without looking skanky. Marc Jacobs' velvet corset dress would be a good start. Marchesa's fringy dress is one part virgin and one part tease, but I'm almost afraid Miley would wear a black bra under it if she remembered to wear one at all.
Taylor Swift loves being a pretty pretty princess, but at 21 she's testing the waters of tastefully sexy. This low-cut white puff by Jason Wu is both princess and adult. Of course she could throw caution to the wind with a killer corset look from Dolce and Gabbana. Sans metal dominatrix belt, this dress is young, fun and even modest.Beyonce will most likely wear a tight mermaid gown. B, can I call you B?, you are the flipping queen of media. It's time to put Deron behind you and break out the couture, because if anyone on the red carpet has the right to make a splash in an over-the-top gown, it's you. Take, for instance, this Christian Dior from Spring Couture 2006. Sans makeup and to-there boots, this is a killer sexy dress to showcase your dance-honed legs. If you insist on more familiar territory, how about this fresh off the runway Armani Prive? It has plenty of curves and best-dressed potential while not being a mermaid silhouette.Pink picked the perfect dress for the VMAs, but Shakira ended up picking it too. Part of me wants her to wear the sequin pants and crazy top from Alexander McQueen's spring show. It's crazy in a fun way, and that fits my favorite pop rocker. If that's a little too far left of center, a rock sliver dress and thigh high boots from Rodarte's fall collection would certainly suit her.Keri Hilson is beautiful but has been making some distracting choices with her red carpet attire. Honey, you can wear something funky and not have it wear you. This textured Versace would be fabulous as a mini, and I'm sure the smooth songbird could find some better shoes for it. If if she still wants to bare her sternum, try Pucci's yellow gown from their latest show. With long sleeves and a floor grazing hem, it's sexy, not hoochy. Just don't forget the double-sided tape.As for Lady Gaga? Trumpet hat all the way.

That white Armani Prive gown you picked for Beyonce. I WANT it. The color is elegant, eye catching but not gaudy. And that CURVE! I LOVE the side ruffle, it looks so romantic. And made the body more mysterious by hiding a bit of the curve.
