FMF Reader Poll: Bra Styles

Spend any time in lingerie department or specialty bra shop and you'll encounter such and array of bra styles your head may spin. I enjoy trying different styles for different looks. My cousin worked at Victoria Secret for years and would always provide me with new styles to try when she found good sales or when my birthday came around. I'm a demi t-shirt bra girl, but many of my dresses look better with a balconette style. What do you look for in an everyday bra? (You can choose multiple options).

It HAS to be balconette style with as close to full cup as is possible with that style. I like the uh, join(?) in the middle to be large and to sit flat against my breastbone. I wouldn't even consider a plunge bra. x

I usually am most interested in them being pretty but underwire and push-up are a must. I never wear full coverage bras, and like front clasps when I can find them. Pretty much the opposite of Sam :) I am guessing she has much larger breasts than I have. I DO like balchonette style bras though...

p.s. I noticed I changed your header picture. I really like the quote and am glad you kept it. But the quote and the font are elegant while the chunky knit sweater pattern is comfy and by no means elegant. The mismatch is bothering me....oh well

Fanya,I'm glad you like the quote and font since those are the pieces we'll be keeping long term. The background will change seasonally. Right now, we're cold so we're cuddling up in a cozy knit.

Pretty patterned fabric is a big plus.

I pretty much only buy black or "nude." Sometimes red. So I look for those colors.
