What Would You Pay? Cable Stitch Tights

Be sure to check out last week's striped blazer. Most of you said you would pay around $30 to $50 dollars. See how much they really cost.

I'm not one to pay a lot of tights, but I've come to understand the value of investing in tights with slightly higher quality than what Target or Kmart offer. These cable tights are made in Denmark from 80% cotton, 17% polyamide and 3% elasthan. They are preshrunk and wear best if hand washed in cold water. They come in grey (pictured), dusted purple (they look mauve-ish to me) and white.

These are the kind of quality I will pay a little more for, but how much more? What would you pay for these tights?

Next Tuesday I will announce on Twitter and Facebook (as well as in this post) where these are from and how much they cost. If you know where this is from, DON'T tell everyone and spoil the fun. The actual cost will skew everyone's answers. Until then, what would you pay for these tights?

Do they feel like a happy sweater :) I'm cheap... I'd prefer to pay $10-15... but I have a feeling they are more in the $30 range. hm. Can't wait to find out!

hmm...they look like tights that Urban Outfitter might sell...

They look comfy, so I'd say I will pay up to $20. Although I wouldn't be surprised if some fancy designer brand decided to sell them at up to $45.

I'm super cheap - All tights have a short lifespan, they will all get holes in the toes - even the thick re-enforced kind.
So I wouldn't pay more than $10 for any tights.

If they came in a tall (actual tall, not just a fib on the package that says they fit a 6ft tall person) I would pay $30 ish for them, though if they seemed really amazing in person, I might go higher just because I've never found a pair of sweater tights that are long enough, plus, if they're good quality, they should last a long time. I've had some of my better quality tights for 2 years or more.

I can vouch for the awesomeness of MP tights. They're well made, soft, and comfy. I have a few pairs and they're my favorites by far. Well worth the extra $$.

Happy 10th Anniversary... and goodbye.

What we looked like in 2009 Ten years ago I created, Fashion Me Fabulous, wrote up a handful of posts, picked a layout and send it all to my friend, Jael. “I’ve started a fashion blog.
