Milan Fashion Week Fall 2011: Roberto Cavalli, Dsquared, Gucci
Who: Roberto Cavalli
What it made us think of: Rock N Roll Pirates on Safari
What we liked: Mixed prints, armor, flowing layers, scarves
What we didn't: Some of it was a little too much, but that's Cavalli
Who: Dsquared²
What it made us think of: The Wild West Gone Glam
What we liked: Grey, pants, jackets, belts, hats, boots, that on their own most of the pieces didn't feel too Western to mix with other pieces
What we didn't: The weird harness/belt-y things, saddle bags Who: Gucci
What it made us think of: How the 1970s would do a Noir spy film in vivid jewel tones.
What we liked: Sweaters, pants, sweaters, jackets, coats, colors, purses
What we didn't: The second half of the show's flowing dresses didn't fit with the first half.
