Milan Fashion Week Fall Winter 2011: Prada, Fendi, Aquilano.Rimondi
Who: Prada
What it made us think of: Sisters ages 12, 16 and 20 on their way to school in the 50s.
What we liked: big buttons, soft shoulders, aviator hats and glasses, plaid, paillettes, the boot shape
What we didn't: Muppet coats. Tomato red ruined the sophisticated color palette. The snake boots felt out of place. Why were the models carrying the purses so awkwardly?

What it made us think of: That same school as the Prada girls but in the 70s.
What we liked: mustard and navy, bib ruffles, mary janes, sweater tights, knee skirts, plaid
What we didn't: camo fur, sweatpants, terrible sunglasses

What it made us think of: Jackie Kennedy dreams of Joan of Arc.
What we liked: cocoon coats, yellow, peach, grey, gold, burgundy, strappy shoes, lady-like studs, aqua shoes
What we didn't: I want all of it; I can't afford any of it.
