Poll: Take 'Em Out!

My sister-in-law likes stud earrings because she can sleep in them. This blows my mind. It's never occurred to me to sleep while wearing my earrings. Of course, I also prefer wires and dangles to studs, and I've made a habit of removig my jewelry as soon as I get home. Even so, posts are a little stabby for bed, and I can't imagine wearing them to bed saves that much time in the morning.

I leave my sleepers in all the time, unless i'm wearing other earings that is. they're fine to sleep with as they have no stabby bits. i can't sleep with any other kind of earrings in though.

Before my ears developed an allergy to all things not gold, I usually slept in the little posts they used to pierce my ears. I actually wore these all the time because I would forget to wear earrings and my holes would start to close up. I only changed earring for special occasions.

Now, I can't imagine sleeping in earrings. It sounds uncomfortable even though I used to do it all the time.

I've always been a bit paranoid about sleeping in earrings... my aunt had an earring pulled out of her earlobe while sleeping.

Stabby is right! I've slept in little gold hoops and worn them for days & days in a row, but mostly I free-lobe it while sleeping.

I never sleep in dangley earrings, but I do sleep in studs. I have two holes slightly higher on my lobe (only on one ear) that I pretty much change/take out, like, once a year, if that. They never bother me. Strangely, studs in my first piercings sometimes do, though. But sometimes I sleep in them anyway.

The idea of sleeping in danglely earrings is terrifying though! What if they got caught on something?

I always keep my studs in my 2nd and 3rd hole in (the back bits don't stick out and poke me) but I always take out my main earrings whether they are studs or dangles.

Studs are stabby, but I've got a pair of loops with no sharp bits that I often wear when I feel lazy that end up hanging out in my ears for days or weeks at a time.

What we looked like in 2009 Ten years ago I created, Fashion Me Fabulous, wrote up a handful of posts, picked a layout and send it all to my friend, Jael. “I’ve started a fashion blog. What do you think?” She gave me a few tips, wrote a couple “guest posts” and before long became my blogging partner. Together, we built a blog and community I could have never built alone.
