Who: John Galliano
What it made us think of: 17th century Dutch explorers
What we liked: capelets, pleats, thigh high stockings, feathered Renaissance hats, scarf prints, color palette, plaid, nipped waist jackets
What we didn't: If the models weren't in knickers, their thighs were completely exposed. This show is purely waist up.
Who: Miu Miu
What it made us think of: Used car salesmen are really aliens from the groovy beyond.
What we liked: menswear, colorful suits, colorful menswear shoes, loud prints, flared heels, the heels, bags
What we didn't: platform boots (which I may even like with different outfits), ruffle ties, mirrors. This show is really five looks in different fabric.

What it made us think of: Miu Miu 2009-2010
What we liked: ruffles, well-placed zippers, tiger heads, rubber-coated knits, metallics
What we didn't: stiff neoprene-like fabric, large gems, freakishly large jewelry, 80s Barbie cocktail dresses
