Why We Love It: This weekend is the Woodward Dream Cruise. It's a Detroit tradition for all the classic and awesome cars in the Motor City to congregate on and around a 16-mile stretch of Woodward Ave that spans eight cities. There will be over a million people there to see over 40,000 cars. Many people even dress for the era of their classic car. I don't have a classic car, but if I wanted to accessorize for the event the auto-themed jewelry from Hi Octane would be the perfect fit.

You're awesome! Listening to the Detroit Cobras now, and I think I want to buy the VW bus ring for my husband for Christmas. Unless it makes him depressed because he doesn't have one now.

Happy 10th Anniversary... and goodbye.

What we looked like in 2009 Ten years ago I created, Fashion Me Fabulous, wrote up a handful of posts, picked a layout and send it all to my friend, Jael. “I’ve started a fashion blog. What do you think?” She gave me a few tips, wrote a couple “guest posts” and before long became my blogging partner. Together, we built a blog and community I could have never built alone.
