Milan Fashion Week FW13: Moschino, Luisa Beccaria, Dsquared²
Moschino was all over the place with references so varied it would be impossible to list them all. Despite being scattered as a show, several pieces shown through and even more will shine when hanging as separates on store racks.
Luisa Beccaria took to the 1930s for a lovely, ladylike collection.
Dsquared² does denim well, but their attempts to broaden their horizons have been hit or miss just like this collection. It has some big bad misses, but it also has some lovely bright spots. I appreciate the risk taking and attempts to grow. I also liked the almost cartoon-ish nature of the sleek suits.
